Francis Makemie Presbyterian Church welcomes the full participation of all individuals in worship, fellowship, and service, whether or not they are formal members of the congregation. Church membership is a gift and responsibility that allows us to express through a local body of believers our participation in the worldwide Body of Christ. Active members are also able to vote in congregational meetings and are eligible to serve as an elder in the church, represent the church at regional and national meetings.

Trusting in the gracious mercy of God, do you turn from the ways of sin and renounce evil and its power in the world? 2. Do you turn to Jesus Christ and accept him as your Lord and Savior, trusting in his grace and love? 3. Will you be Christ's faithful disciple, obeying his Word and showing his love? 4. Question for membership You have publicly professed your faith. Will you be a faithful member of this congregation, share in its worship and ministry through your prayers and gifts, your study and service, and so fulfill your calling to be a disciple of Jesus Christ?
- Reaffirmation of Faith—for those who have been previously baptized but are not currently an active member of a Christian church or are a member of church that does not transfer members.
